Emily is very passionate about helping the community. During her Pre-Med undergraduate years she spent her weekends providing free health care at student run clinic Paul Hom Asian Clinic and was very active in Red Cross. It was during this time she was exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine and fell in love with it. She greatly appreciates a medicine that not only treats current ailments but is focused on preventing it as well.
She loves to spread the word about Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. She gives free talks and lectures to educate the public on how to improve their health.
As a licensed acupuncturist, Emily uses different modalities to treat her patients: acupuncture, tui na, cupping, electro-stimulation, herbs, lifestyle and diet/nutrition counseling.
